Living In A Prototype Research Diary
Keywords
Abstract
This publication illustrates my journey over the past four years of artistic research
within the ArcInTex European Training Network1. This journey started with a search
for textile structures that adapt and respond to their environment, led to me studying
the interactions between seedlings and textiles and resulted in me living in a
prototype house in the Swedish forest in order to explore the spaces in between the
inside and the outside. The diary presented here, containing three short stories,
describes the magical subtle experiences that one has when conducting observational
studies, which are difficult to describe in a factual way.
